We are pleased to announce Tracy Hickman of Hickman Design Associates as the inaugural Chicago Interior Design Hall of Fame inductee.

Tracy was announced as the winner at an awards gala on Feb. 2, 2012 at the Merchandise Mart attended by more than 500 people.

Recognition also goes to Shea Soucie and Martin Horner who were named first runners up and Darcy Bonner who was named second runner up.

The Chicago Interior Design Hall of Fame honors interior designers based in the Chicago-area who have made a vital impact on the design community. The inaugural class of nominees was selected by a diverse group of professionals representing Design Center at The Merchandise Mart and Luxe Interiors + Design magazine. The decision was then handed over to the public who cast more than 10,000 votes for who they felt should be the winner.

Mercedes-Benz USA was title sponsor of the event. Presenting sponsors included Design Center at the Merchandise Mart and Luxe Interiors + Design magazine.
