The Pearson Company, known once as Clyde Pearson Company, was founded in 1942 and has been in continuous operation ever since, producing premium upholstered furniture for consumers nationwide. The Pearson collection of more than 500 styles, ranging from traditional to contemporary, dressy to casual, is created by their own design staff. Because all Pearson furniture is made to the customer’s order, you may also choose a number of custom options. J. Robert Scott, Suite 1873
J. Robert Scott is proud to announce its showroom opening. This fall, in the new 6,000-square-foot location, they will debut more than 40 new furniture, lighting and accessory designs plus their state-of-the-art textile display.

It is rare to find a company that can tailor a piece of furniture to fit not just your body, but your home environment and lifestyle. The engineering department at J. Robert Scott modifies and adjusts existing furniture items every day to meet the specific needs of the company’s discriminating clientele. If it can be drawn, it can be made. The ability to customize and the commitment to producing one-of-a-kind pieces have distinguished J. Robert Scott as an exceptional resource in the industry.

In addition to the most beautiful wood veneers from all over the world, J. Robert Scott is well-known for utilizing other rare and exotic materials such as shagreen, anaconda snake and goatskin parchment. The company believes that an unwavering dedication to quality and craftsmanship is what sets them apart. After 10 successful years in Chicago, J. Lee Jofa aims to revitalize the shopping experience of its customers, creating showrooms that are soothing andstimulating. Many revisions, both subtle and stunning, will allow Lee Jofa to enhance the shopping experience of its Chicago customers. Expanded to more than 6,000 square feet, the space will provide interior designers with an optimal environment, filled with comfortable furniture, private workspaces and an airier atmosphere. A new Show House Room will highlight featured designers, focusing on a new designer with every changing season. A Color Wall will display woven fabrics to advantage. Finally, a new client service area will provide designers with a separate room, furnished with open tables and light refreshments.

The expansion has also given Lee Jofa’s Chicago showroom the opportunity to represent Clarence House, providing the luxury fabrics of this fine company alongside those of Lee Jofa and its associated brands. And with the expert assistance of showroom managers like Jerome Fitzgerald of Lee Jofa and Alan Haverstock of Clarence House, customers are sure to be in good hands.

Lee Jofa’s exquisite product offerings have found an optimal space in this broader and brighter space. The showroom will remain open throughout the summer, and the fully renovated showroom is slated to open July 2007. David Sutherland, Suite 1800
David Sutherland Showrooms, formerly Heltzer Furniture, is now open. The recent acquisition of Heltzer Furniture by Heltzer Holdings, an affiliate of David Sutherland Inc., has resulted in plans for expansion that will ultimately allow for the company to showcase the premier brands of Sutherland, Perennials Outdoor Fabrics, Heltzer and John Hutton Textiles, in what will become the sixth David Sutherland Showroom in the United States.

Chicagoans now have the chance to peek inside a medicine cabinet inspired by one salvaged from the Helena Rubenstein residence or luxuriate in glamorous marble bathtubs designed at the turn of the last century, all in the comfort of their own homes. Urban Archaeology, the foremost resource for new, historically accurate lighting, bath and kitchen products, has opened a boutique in LuxeHome™.

Urban Archaeology offers original lines in lighting, bath accessories, washstands, medicine cabinets, hardware, furnishings and American artisan tile that open a window to the past.
