Nancy Corzine, Suite 622 Nancy Corzine is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Rinker as general manager of the Chicago showroom. Frank brings with him many years of experience in the design industry, including his last position as manager at Holly Hunt. Nancy Corzine is delighted to have him as part of the Chicago team. Frank’s years as a design consultant on numerous interior projects makes him a perfect addition to the showroom and will give the designer the added benefit of his expertise. Pedini Chicago, Suite 105 Pedini Chicago is pleased to announce the addition of Judy Fischer to its staff as senior designer/ vice president. Judy has fifteen years’ experience in the kitchen business, managing two showrooms in Hinsdale and most recently as senior designer with Snaidero Chicago for the past eight years. Richard Norton, Suite 612 Richard Norton, Inc., celebrating its 73rd year in The Mart, is pleased to announce the addition of Shawn Marsh to their staff. Marsh specializes in European Furniture and Decorative Arts, 19th century Japanese Art and Musical Instruments. For the past 10 years he has worked extensively with the Chicago and New York design trade. Todd Hase, Suite 1622 Todd Hase welcomes Zach Hayes as its new showroom manager. Innovations in Design for Indoor/Outdoor Spaces
Wednesday, April 20, 2006, at 11:30 a.m., hear design industry experts share their secrets for designing spectacular indoor/outdoor spaces. The panel will include Jennie Wilde, Robert Allen’s vice president of design, introducing the al fresco collection of indoor/outdoor fabric and Linda Long, a performance fabric specialist who will explain the proprietary yarn technology used in this exciting collection and demonstrate its amazing stain resistance. Johnene and Afiya Adams of AHA Interiors will talk about their experiences designing indoor/outdoor spaces. The panel will also touch on the latest and future outdoor design trends. Lunch will be served.

2nd Annual Hinsdale Kitchen Walk—An Event Not to Miss
Friday, April 28, 2006 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Hinsdale Cooks! is the second annual kitchen walk featuring six designer kitchens of Hinsdale homeowners. Kitchens will feature the design and style of several reputable designers, including venerable Christopher Peacock Cabinetry.
Kitchen walk begins at Immanuel Hall and features six homeowner kitchens in Hinsdale. Tickets purchased in advance are $35. On the day of the event, tickets may be purchased at Immanuel Hall for $40.  For more information, contact Maron at 630.323.3072.

Congratulations to Kiu Haghighi on receiving the finalist award in “ethnic and folk art” from the Illinois Art Council. Haghighi is known as a santour (the box zither of the Middle East) virtuoso in concert halls around the world.
