This September, Chicago business and marketing entrepreneur Cary A. Filsinger teams with Chicago designer and custom furniture manufacturer Scott Arthur Yerkey to open a new multi-line showroom on the 18th floor. “Filsinger Chicago is an opportunity to display the more transitional Scott Arthur Yerkey Furniture line along side some of the best traditional and contemporary furniture the industry has to offer,” states partner Cary Filsinger. The showroom will be anchored with primary lines, including Scott Arthur Yerkey Furniture and the Los Angles-based premier furniture line Hamilton Inc.
The showroom will also feature original Formax Lighting from Europe; antiques and antiquities known as Filsinger Tour, including chandeliers, case goods, and one-of-a-kind accessories found throughout Cary Filsinger and Scott Arthur Yerkey’s travels; the Bradford Collection upholstered goods and a number of contemporary furnishings, lighting and fabric lines.
In addition to the wide product offerings featured in the new showroom, Filsinger Chicago’s expert staff serves clients with creativity and efficiency, offering elegant solutions to every design situation, whether it’s help fi nding one perfect piece for a room or help with an entire design project. Filsinger Chicago will also feature an elegantly furnished conference room where designers may meet with their clients in private.

Sherrill Collection is excited to announce the reopening of their showroom on the 16th floor. The newly updated showroom includes a textile library containing fabrics and leathers from across the lines and samples of the extensive variety of wood fi nishes. All new vignettes with hundreds of fresh pieces showcase merchandise specifi cally chosen for the Chicago area market. Holland & Sherry, the acclaimed suppliers and weavers of luxury textiles, is pleased to announce the opening of its Chicago showroom in The Merchandise Mart Design Center, Suite 6-118. Located on the 6th floor, this fall’s opening marks the fi rm’s fi rst showroom for its interior collection outside New York. A fi xture of Savile Row since 1836, Holland and Sherry’s interior collection was introduced in its New York showroom in 2001 and has become internationally known for its quiet elegance. You may have noticed a big change in the South Lobby of The Merchandise Mart. It has now become the home to a beautiful lounge complete with Design Center furniture and accessories. This seating area has received praise from designers and building tenants as a needed gathering place, reflective of the luxury tone of our offerings here. Crafted by Design Collaboratives, the lounge currently features Baker, Bright, Donghia, HBF, Holly Hunt, Interior Crafts and TCD/Ello. A new look will be revealed this November.
