Hollywood + Fashion + Design

Brunschwig & FilsBrunschwig is currently working with members of the Hollywood Costume Guild on the creation of eight one-of-a-kind ball gowns fabricated from Brunschwig & Fils fabrics. These gowns will be designed to showcase the elegance long associated with the brand. The costume designers are all Academy and Emmy award designers at the top of their profession and the gowns will be a spectacular showcase of creativity and beauty. The exhibit will travel to various U.S. showrooms and then arrive in New York where they will be auctioned at a gala party hosted by Town & Country magazine as a benefit for the Actors Fund of America. Preview Party
Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC)A Preview Party will once again benefit the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), a not-for-profit hospital dedicated to helping people with physical disabilities. The RIC Benefit will be on Thursday, April 26, 6-9 p.m. Thanks to the efforts of the RIC Women’s Board, 1,000+ guests are anticipated at this wonderful evening, giving antiques enthusiasts the opportunity to shop the Fair before it opens to the public. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction of fine wines and a presentation by famed Chicago architect Margaret McCurry will complement the evening. Ticket prices range from $150–$500. Parisian Flair at the Fair
Saturday, April 28, 5–7 p.m. International Antiques Fair guests will enjoy a special feature this year, a French Antiques Pavilion with eight select dealers from Paris’ famed Marche aux Puces. In this area of the Fair, a Bistro will offer French dining delicacies and shoppers will enjoy entertainment, Paris-style. C’est magnifique!

Sunday at the Fair
Sunday, April 29, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. International Antiques Fair attendees on Sunday will enjoy complimentary mimosas and live classical music.
