What's New

1. Hinson & Co., Suite 6-117
Hinson Lighting introduces TH Robsjohn Gibbings Classic Square Black Marble Table Lamp, originally designed in 1952. A favorite of Florence Knoll, it is the first time in decades the lamp has been made available. It is designed with bronze, matte nickel, polished brass and polished chrome. The lamp comes in white round, square linen or translucent shades.

2. Callard & Associates, Suite 1611
Congratulations to Carolyn Ray, winner of the 2006 Roscoe Award for Best of Year in Residential Wallcoverings with their newest design, Four (shown). Characterized by the simplicity of its motif, it’s a drawn circle delicately rendered by finely layered hand-screen prints in subtle neutral and patina’d colorations.

3. Hokanson, Suite 1881
Hokanson continues to expand the kaleidoscope of design possibilities for the floor. New for spring 2007, the Neva collection, a line of 50 new flat weave designs, was inspired by antique saris and shawls from India, Africa and Pakistan. Presented in various yarn configurations such as wool, silk, viscose or chenille, these designs can be woven in any custom length and up to 20 feet in width. Hand-loomed at Hokanson’s 800-person factory in Thailand, the Neva Collection adds to the already extensive collection of floor coverings created by the artisans at Hokanson. Custom options are also available.

4. JANUS et Cie, Suite 1876
JANUS et Cie’s Yin Yang by Dedon unites the dynamic opposites of ancient Chinese philosophy into a harmonious interplay of color and form. The bronze and platinum colored fibers reflect this harmony in alternating convex and concave surfaces. This latest signature collection of indoor/outdoor lounge seating was inspired by time and tide. Like more traditional tête-à-tête seating, Yin Yang provides comfort and the option of face-toface conversation for two in one contemporary design.

5. Gallerie One, Suite 600
The Endless Knot Rug Company is a San Francisco Bay Area designer, importer and distributor of exquisitely handcrafted carpets, hand-woven exclusively in Nepal. The rugs offer timeless beauty in a wide selection of styles, all based on original designs. You can reinterpret an existing pattern into a custom color-way or create an entirely new design.

6. Winston, Suite 16-100
Metropolitan—a modern description reserved to signify refinement and elegance. Words certainly befitting the design appeal of this new collection from Winston. Metropolitan is generously proportioned and incorporates a tapered, twopiece sling bucket. Complex bending of the framework creates conformity to the body and accentuates the tremendous comfort of all the pieces in this collection.

7. F. Schumacher & Co., Suite 6-133
Two icons of American design have joined forces to create Jamie Drake for Schumacher, one of Spring’s hottest fabric collections. These wovens and prints combine Jamie’s bold and sophisticated sense of color and style with Schumacher’s dedication to timeless design and textiles of the highest quality.

8. Charles Pollock Showroom, Suite 1815
New from the Enchanted Garden Collection of Indoor Fabrics, Nomi offers a blending of patterns adapted from various cultures, historical periods and the natural world. While the work is inspired by the majesty of much older traditions, primal themes and sacred places, an unmistakable, always present, modern twist is distinctly Nomi.
