“Arrowroot” headlines the new Ngari Collection at Atelier Lapchi, Suite 6-160. This design was inspired by a 14th or 15th century Chinese painting, incorporating the delicate and refined qualities of a scroll with an uncluttered field and a large but subtle motif. The Ngari Collection uses a unique spinning and weaving process that allows the wool knots to relax organically, over time, creating a carpet of great character and resonance, with the timeless texture and patina of the greatest antique textiles. Shown is the colorway “Stone.” Atelier Lapchi’s customization options make virtually any color and size adaptation both easy and elegant. Other designs in the collection include “River Rock,” “Skipping Stone,” and “Vine.”
