Foyer

Layers of pattern, texture and color served as the take-off point for inspiration in the foyer. By creating a provocative transition from exterior to interior, the design was focused on the concept of “exaggerated reality”. The objective was to flirt with opulence, while still feeling fresh.

Deep green malachite papered walls paired with a black and white harlequin painted floor set the stage for a home with unabashed boldness. Mohair, velvet, silk and goat skin create an intimate and inviting space. Vintage and antique pieces from around the world, feel like the collection of a curator. Once combined, it’s a maximalist room with a graphic pop of cultured irreverence. This isn’t your grandma’s foyer.

Drop your umbrella, hang your jacket, and let curiosity get the best of you …
