The Heart of the Home
The Kitchen is the heart of a home – not just the central gathering place for family, but a key part of a welcoming, entertaining space for friends. THE NEFF design team’s goal was to create a warm, inviting space for elegant gourmet cooking, very comfortable dining and enviable entertaining.
To create warmth, we incorporated sensuous, flowing curves and exotic woods - Dark Olive, English Sycamore and ebony-stained Rift-cut Oak. Toned lighting gives you lots of light to work and adds to the warm atmosphere.
To create elegance, we added sculpted wood panels in a champagne crystal metallic finish, a polished nickel sink, and a backsplash in eye-catching, glass mosaic. Soft silk walls with brushed suede tile and a Bulgarian Limestone floor set a soft and graceful stage for the richly detailed cabinetry and hardware.
As a gathering space, we wanted to create a lightness of spirit. Beautifully designed appliances blend in unobtrusively, allowing the focus to be on the circular island, crowned with a translucent, but hardy quartz gemstone countertop, and the built-in banquet, with its stunning Lucite and glass table.
